Filters are 1/2" undercut, as is standard for filter sizing. 1/8" undercut on thickness.
Stainless Details:
The Stainless Mist Eliminator has a 304 Stainless steel frame with 10 layers of stainless-steel expanded media and screen throughout the filter. The filter contains at least 3 holes on both the top and bottom to allow for proper drainage.
Galvanized Details:
The Galvanized Mist Eliminator is made with a 24 gauge galvanized frame, surrounding a multi layered pad of .0157 galvanized expanded media and screen. The filter contains at least 3 holes on both the top and bottom to allow for proper drainage.
Aluminum Details:
Aluminum Details:
The Aluminum Mist Eliminator is made with an .037 aluminum frame, surrounding a multi layered pad which includes both aluminum expanded media and screen. The filter contains at least 3 holes on both the top and bottom to allow for proper drainage.
General Description:
The Smith Mist Eliminators are designed for use in air handling systems requiring collection of oil mist or water droplets. Oil mist in return air is often found in production machine shops. In supply air, water droplets may occur as carryover from cooling coils and evaporative media or unevaporated moisture downstream from humidifiers. The "Mist Eliminator" filters are designed to capture droplets 10 microns or larger.
These 2" filters contain 10 layers of media, both expanded and screen media. The filter is enclosed in a heavy frame and contains at least 3 holes on both the top and bottom to allow for proper drainage.
