CamGuard Automotive is a blend of high-performance additives that fortify modern engine oils to provide maximum engine protection. Modern commercial engine oil formulations are, at best, a compromise due to government regulations and costs. These limitations lead to reduced additive concentrations and subsequently reduced performance. CamGuard Automotive offers uncompromising performance, utilizing advanced technology, to directly address wear, deposits, and corrosion problems to extend the engine life of gasoline engines. CamGuard Automotive significantly reduces wear by utilizing advanced anti-wear additives that work synergistically with the modern standard low levels of anti-wear zinc used in passenger car oils. It is phosphorus-free and will not adversely affect catalytic converters. CamGuard Automotive is particularly useful in older engine designs utilizing flat-tap valvetrains, especially when using modern lower zinc (phosphorus) mandated oils. CamGuard Automotive provides excellent antiwear protection during "dry" starts after periods of prolonged inactivity by maintaining a residual active film on critical parts. CamGuard Automotive uses multiple antioxidants to preserve and extend the life of the zinc and phosphorus in modern oils. They also prevent varnish formation by breaking down reactive free radicals from fuel burn, which is particularly important in high-performance carbureted or fuel-injected engines running "rich" mixtures for maximum power.
